“Which of our courses are still accurate?”
Today there is only one way to answer that question: ask every author, one by one, and hope they remember what each section was based on.
In fast moving subjects, a course can be wrong within months. A standard gets revised. A tool releases a new version. A regulation changes. Nobody tells you. You find out when a learner points it out, or when an auditor does.
Most providers do not have a content team whose job is to reread the whole course catalog every quarter. So it does not happen.

We map every section to its sources
For each section we record which standards, documentation or regulations it depends on. We do this together with you in one onboarding session, because most courses cite fewer sources than they rely on.
Step 3
You get suggestions, not surprises
When a source changes in a way that matters, Aktuvio shows you which section is affected, what changed, and a suggested update with the evidence attached. Your author reviews it and decides. Nothing is published without a sign off.

Questions
Do we have to change our LMS?
No. Aktuvio works on a copy of your course, and your LMS stays the system of record. You either upload an export or give us read-only access — your live courses are never touched either way. If you stopped using Aktuvio tomorrow, your catalog would sit exactly where it does today.
Which formats do you support?
SCORM packages, source files, and Moodle. If you run your own system, you can upload an export — we work from whatever it can give us. Sorting out which of those is easiest for you is part of the onboarding session, so you do not have to decide before you talk to us.
Will Aktuvio change our courses?
No. It suggests changes. Every suggestion arrives with the source that triggered it and the evidence attached, and one of your authors approves or rejects it. Nothing is published without a sign-off, and every decision is kept in the version record.
Our courses are in German, the technical sources are mostly English. Does that work?
Yes. That is the situation Aktuvio was designed for. Accredited German course material usually rests on English standards and vendor documentation, and that gap is exactly where content goes stale unnoticed — nobody is watching the English original week to week. We show you the affected section alongside the source that changed, so your author can check it against the original.
What counts as one course?
One course in your catalog, however many sections it has. A course with forty sections counts the same as one with four. Tiers are set by how many courses you want watched — five, twenty or fifty — not by their size, and not by how many people take them.
What if our catalog grows?
Tell us and we move you to the next tier from the following month. You do not have to wait for your term to end, and the change takes effect from the next month's billing rather than being backdated.
Is there a minimum term?
Annual plans run for a year and include two months free. Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of any month. The onboarding session is included either way, so getting set up is not a separate cost.
What happens in the onboarding session?
We go through your courses with you and record which sections depend on which sources — which standard, which piece of vendor documentation, which regulation. It usually takes about two hours per course. Most courses cite fewer sources than they actually rely on, which is why we do this with you rather than guessing it from the text. It is included in every plan.
Who is behind Aktuvio?
Two of us, in Berlin. Between us we teach, write and maintain courses for training providers, and we build software. Aktuvio exists because we kept finding out too late that a section had gone out of date. Write to us and you reach one of the two people who build it.
